How it works and FAQs

  • Do I need to book? Our booking system is straight forwards and guarantees a table for plenty of time to create your masterpiece. You’re welcome to pop in and we will always do our best to accommodate you, but at busy times such as weekends and events, this may not be possible.

  • How long does pottery painting take? We reserve your table for 90 minutes, to give you plenty of time to browse our pottery choices and paint your item.  If you've chosen a larger item or you're creating something with lots of detail, you're very welcome to take a little longer if space allows. If the studio is busy and you need more time, you're welcome to book another session to come back and finish your masterpiece.

  • How much does it cost? You can select from our beautiful collection of ceramics. Each ceramic item has its own price. The choices start from £15, with the average price around £25. The cost you see for each ceramic is all-inclusive, covering everything from painting to firing. You only need to pay the listed ceramic price.

  • Is there a booking fee? To secure your place, we ask for a £5 booking fee per person when you book your session. The lovely bit? Your £5 comes off the pottery you choose to paint on the day, so it isn't an extra charge. The booking fee is non-refundable and is linked to the person who made the booking. If someone in your group decides not to paint a piece, their £5 can't be transferred to another person or taken off someone else's pottery.

  • Can I bring my dog with me? Certainly! We warmly welcome you to bring your beloved pets along with you. We kindly ask that they be well-behaved, reasonably quiet, and remain with you at your table.

  • When can I collect my finished piece? We will email you when your piece is ready, this is usually 2-3 weeks after your visit. Collection hours follow store opening hours. All pieces are kept for 28 days once they have been fired. If you need longer to collect please call us or text us to ensure we keep your pottery.

  • Do you offer delivery? Yes, we’re happy to ship your pottery once it’s ready. Please let us know at the time of your visit if this is something you will need. Tracked domestic shipping starts at £10 per item, with an additional £5 for each extra item. As a small studio, we favour collection where possible.

  • Do you offer food and drink? We have soft drinks and snacks available to purchase but also welcome you to bring your own.
