Booking Terms & Conditions
We want your visit to The Little Clay Co. to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible, so here are a few little things to know when booking with us.
Booking fee
A £5 booking fee per person is required when making a booking. This secures your place in the studio and is then taken off the price of the pottery that you choose to paint.
The £5 booking fee applies to the individual who made the booking. If someone in your group decides not to paint a piece, their £5 cannot be transferred to another guest or taken off someone else's pottery.
The booking fee is non-refundable, subject to any cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Cancelling or changing your booking
If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible.
We understand that sometimes things happen, so where possible, we are happy to move your booking to another date, subject to availability. Please contact us as early as you can and we'll do our best to help.
If you cancel your booking or don't attend, your £5 booking fee will not be refunded.
Changing the number of people
If the number of people in your group changes, please let us know before your visit.
If you would like to add someone to your booking, they will need to pay their own £5 booking fee.
Each booking fee belongs to the person it was paid for and cannot be moved between guests.
Your visit
We recommend allowing around 90 minutes for your visit. If you've chosen a larger or more detailed piece, you may need a little longer.
Please arrive at your booked time so that you have plenty of time to enjoy your session. Arriving late may mean you have less time available for painting, particularly if we have another booking afterwards.
If you need a little longer to finish your piece, please speak to us. Where possible, we're happy to arrange another visit to finish it.
Choosing your pottery
Your £5 booking fee is deducted from one pottery item chosen and painted by you.
If you decide to paint additional pieces during your visit, the £5 booking fee will not be deducted from those additional items.
The remaining balance for your pottery is payable on the day.
Children
Children are very welcome at The Little Clay Co. and must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout their visit.
Please take extra care around pottery, paints and other studio equipment, and help us keep our little studio and your little ones safe.
Looking after your pottery
Pottery is fragile, so please handle your piece with care while you're painting.
Once you've finished, we'll take care of the glazing and kiln-firing for you. While we take every care with your pottery, the nature of ceramics means that occasionally pieces can crack, break or have an unexpected result during the glazing or firing process.
If something does go wrong with your piece, we'll always do our best to help.
Collecting your finished pottery
We'll let you know when your pottery is ready to collect. This is usually around two weeks after your visit, although firing times can vary.
Please collect your finished pieces within the collection period given to you. If you're unable to collect them, please get in touch and we'll see what we can arrange.
If we need to cancel
We hope this never happens, but if we need to cancel your booking for any reason, we'll contact you as soon as possible.
We'll offer you the option to rearrange your visit or receive a refund of your booking fee.
A little reminder
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these booking terms.
If you're unsure about anything at all, please just ask. We're always happy to help! 💛
